Elevating to Excellence

Dr. Danielle N. Williams

“On behalf of the Executive Board, Members, Associates, Father's Auxiliary, and children of the Queens Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. I am honored to welcome you to our Chapter website. We are thrilled you are interested in learning more about our chapter and we welcome the opportunity to share the incredible programming for our children. Our 2023-2024 chapter theme is "Elevating to Excellence". As a chapter, we will bond in relationships, brand ourselves in the Queens Community, build partnerships, and bridge the technology gap. It is my esteemed pleasure to serve as President and I am excited to continue our legacy in this wonderful organization.”

A Message from our Chapter President

Founded in June 1952, the Queens (New York) Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was established under the guidance of Emilie Pickens, who also had the distinction of being the first Vice President of the national organization. Our chapter is one of 252 chapters of Jack and Jill of America that is comprised of 40,000 families and we are a part of the Mighty Eastern Region.

We have a rich and distinguished history as an organization of over 50 mothers whose objective is to impart constructive educational, civic, cultural, recreational, and social programming to stimulate growth and development in our African-American children. We strive to nurture future leaders through outstanding chapter programming, community service, legislative advocacy, and philanthropic giving.
